Job summary

Veriipro is seeking a skilled professional in Charlotte, North Carolina, to take ownership of reference architecture for the Camunda Platform 8. You will define integration patterns, establish BPMN 2.0 standards, and ensure high availability and resilience in deployments.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Camunda along with Java/Spring Boot and Node.js proficiency. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to mentor teams effectively.

Responsibilities

• Own reference architecture for Camunda Platform 8.
• Define integration patterns (REST/gRPC, Kafka, JMS, webhooks).
• Establish standards for BPMN 2.0, DMN, and FEEL.
• Define NFRs: scalability, high availability, resilience.
• Design external worker patterns (Java/Spring Boot, Node.js).
• Guide deployments on Kubernetes and Helm.
• Translate business requirements into orchestrated workflows.
• Drive workflow decomposition, modeling, and versioning.

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Own reference architecture for Camunda Platform 8 (Zeebe, Operate, Tasklist, Optimize, Connectors)
• Define integration patterns (REST/gRPC, Kafka, JMS, webhooks)
• Establish standards for BPMN 2.0, DMN, and FEEL; review complex models and decision tables
• Define NFRs: scalability, high availability, resilience (retries, backoff, circuit breakers), idempotency, and processing guarantees
• Design external worker patterns (Java/Spring Boot, Node.js) and connector-based orchestration
• Guide deployments on Kubernetes (GKE/EKS/AKS), Helm, and IaC (Terraform), including DR and upgrades
• Translate business requirements into orchestrated workflows
• Drive workflow decomposition, modeling, and versioning at scale

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with Camunda Platform 8 (Zeebe)
• Hands‑on with BPMN/DMN modeling and FEEL
• Proficiency in Java/Spring Boot (preferred), Node.js
• Experience with microservices, distributed systems, and event‑driven architecture
• Knowledge of REST, gRPC, Kafka, JMS
