Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Java Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade software. The role emphasizes backend work with Java/Python, REST APIs, and Camunda workflow orchestration, alongside React frontend development.

The candidate should have strong API integration experience, cloud exposure (AWS) and infrastructure as code (Terraform), and familiarity with modern CI/CD tools. Financial services domain knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience as Java full stack with API integration and Camunda implementation.
• Backend in Java/Node.js with API development and frontend in React.
• Cloud familiarity with AWS and Terraform deployments; CI/CD via DevOps tools.
• Domain knowledge in financial services is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• The Application full stack Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise-grade software applications.
• Proficiency in Python or Java and SQL-based database development; experience with workflow orchestration tools (Camunda) preferred.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms, with exposure to AWS environments and Terraform deployments.
• Experience using version control systems (Azure DevOps, GitHub); familiarity with GitHub Copilot is a plus.
• Frontend development experience preferred, with a strong preference for React.
• Familiarity with data formats and markup languages such as JSON, XML, and HTML.
• Oversees development and installation of new hardware and software.
• Provides advice and recommendations to management on processes and techniques required for improved work operations.
• Installs and configures systems and other software.
• Tests installed software for malfunction detection.
• Identifies and resolves business systems issues.
• Designs and deploys new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operation systems.
• Measures effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems.
• Develops and implements strategies to improve systems.
• Monitors and tests system performance.
• Oversees the training of junior engineers to improve job skills and work efficiency.
• Maintains full ownership of a process typically
• Ensures compliance with risk management programs, rules and regulations, and cybersecurity practices; identifies opportunities for and supports process improvements; applies disciplined change management practices

Salary Range: $110,000 to $130,000 per year
