Camshaft Technician I

Georgetown, TX

Responsibilities

• Verify that the polishing operation has been completed.
• Verify that part SKU numbers and quantities match their corresponding manufacturing orders.
• Perform visual inspections of all camshafts from the start to the end of prep.
• Accurately log the movement of parts through the process.
• Machine the rear face of all camshafts prior to wash with a belt sander.
• Wash all camshafts, ensuring they are completely covered with rust preventative.
• Aid other camshaft department team members with tasks throughout the day during downtime.
• Maintain positive working relationships with manufacturing personnel and other staff members to support a positive workplace environment.
• Enforce industry standard safety procedures throughout the camshaft department.
• Keep work area clean and safe for other individuals.
• Clean other work areas during downtime, including other parts of the camshaft department and the manufacturing center.
• Perform and execute all other duties assigned by direct manager.

Requirements
