Job summary

Livermoreschools seeks a Yard Duty Supervisor to help oversee student safety and behavior on campus during assigned periods. You will enforce campus rules, report incidents, and assist staff in maintaining a secure environment for students.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least six months of supervising school-age students. This is a 10-month role with medical, dental and vision benefits provided by the district.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience supervising school-age students is desirable.
• A combination of education, training and/or job experience to perform the essential functions.
• Pre-employment proficiency testing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Inform students of acceptable school behavior.
• Monitor student conduct and enforce campus rules.
• Immediately report student injuries and complete accident forms.
• Intercede in conflicts and provide referrals.
• Escort students to administration for serious or repeated violations.
• Maintain safety of duty areas and direct visitors as needed.
