Job summary

Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District seeks a Yard Duty Supervisor to oversee student safety and conduct on campus during assigned periods. The role involves enforcing campus rules, reporting injuries, and assisting staff with discipline to maintain a safe learning environment.

Qualified candidates should have at least a high school diploma and a preference for six months of supervisory experience with students.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience as a supervisor of school-age students is desired.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A combination of education, training, and/or job experience necessary to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Pre-employment Proficiency Test may be required.
• Meet employment requirements as applicable with state, federal, and local laws, and Board Policy.

Responsibilities

• Inform students of acceptable school behavior.
• Monitor student conduct and enforce campus rules.
• Report injuries and complete accident forms.
• Intercede in conflict situations and support staff in discipline.
• Patrol duty areas providing supervision outside class time.
• Direct tardy students to the appropriate office.
• Escort students for serious or repeated violations.
• Identify non-students and direct them to the office.
• Report safety hazards and vandalism to administration.
• Wear district-designated attire and maintain professionalism.
