Job summary

Mount St. Mary's University is seeking a Visitor Experience Specialist to oversee the campus visit program and enhance the prospective student experience.

This role serves as a primary contact in the Admissions Office and supervises student workers, coordinating visits in collaboration with campus partners. The position requires a bachelor's degree and 2–3 years in related fields, with strong customer service, analytical, organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2–3 years in higher education, student services, admissions, events coordination or related field preferred.
• Strong customer service, analytical, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily campus visit experiences for prospective students and families.
• Serve as primary front lobby customer service representative for the Admissions Office.
• Supervise front desk student workers and support recruitment, training, scheduling and recognition of student ambassadors.
• Manage daily visit calendar in the Admissions CRM (Slate) including event reporting, surveys and email communications.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff and campus partners to ensure effective campus visit experiences.
• Coordinate communication plans for pre-visit, visit-day, and post-visit engagement.
• Monitor visitor satisfaction and engagement data and suggest program enhancements.
• Assist with data management, office inventory and payment processing.
• Support team members, including covering duties as needed.
