Auburn University Facilities Management is seeking a Utility Systems Technician to help keep our campus running smoothly. You will install, operate, and maintain critical utility systems such as water, gas, stormwater, and sewer, and map underground utilities.

You will also perform inspections, minor repairs, and meter installations while gathering precise data to support safety and reliability. Based on campus needs, you’ll contribute to emergency response readiness and hands-on facilities

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, and maintain critical utility systems including water, gas, stormwater, and sewer
• Locate and map underground utilities and perform inspections
• Repair minor issues to ensure reliability and safety
• Install and maintain utility meters, gather accurate data
• Support emergency response efforts when needed
