Job summary

School Of Science & Technology (SST Bayshore) is seeking a Teacher Fellow to provide classroom coverage when teachers are absent and assist with campus-wide duties. This campus-based role acts as a talent pipeline for future full-time teaching openings within the district.

Requirements include a bachelor's degree (or actively pursuing) and eligibility to enroll in a teacher certification program. This is a non-exempt, full-time position on a 193-day schedule, with hourly pay from $21.00 to

Responsibilities

Deliver instruction based on provided lesson plans and objectives.
Cover classrooms campus-wide when the assigned teacher is absent.
Manage student behavior and classroom routines.
Take attendance and complete required documentation.
Build positive relationships with students, staff, families, and campus leadership.
Collaborate with experienced teachers to strengthen planning and practice.
Communicate with administration on coverage needs.
Attend staff meetings and professional development.
Step into full-time teaching roles as openings arise.
Perform other duties as assigned.
