Job summary

Southern Company Services in Atlanta is seeking a Campus Recruiter to lead campus recruiting across Southern Nuclear and partner organizations. You will build a robust pipeline of interns and early-career talent from colleges nationwide, collaborating with university partners and recruiting teams to shape targeted outreach.

You will drive career fairs, information sessions, workshops, and virtual events, screen candidates, and nurture relationships to demonstrate our employer brand and career

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of campus recruiting experience or collegiate career services center
• Strong consultative approach with strategic thinking, problem-solving, influence, and interpersonal effectiveness.
• Client partnership: consult, influence, and partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Event experience: participation in university and/or community recruiting events is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of engaging campus and company-hosted events nationwide, representing Southern Company and Southern Nuclear.
• Screen candidates: review resumes, conduct structured interviews, coordinate skills assessments for internships and early-career roles.
• Build relationships with universities, career services teams, faculty, and student organizations to expand engagement and visibility.
• Activate the employer brand by sharing our culture, mission, career opportunities, and employee value proposition with students and recent graduates.
• Track and report metrics to improve strategy, outreach, and results.
