Job summary

Marygrove Conservancy in Detroit seeks a MHC Fellow to develop the campus' first Sustainability & Resilience Plan. You will assess current practices, engage stakeholders, and identify priorities across energy, water, waste, and transportation to guide future improvements.

You will work with Marygrove's operations team and partners to target energy efficiency, renewable options, and resilient infrastructure, while coordinating community education and outreach activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop Marygrove's first Campus Sustainability & Resilience Plan by assessing current practices and establishing baselines.
• Engage campus partners and stakeholders to identify priorities across energy, water, waste, and transportation.
• Identify short-, medium-, and long-term sustainability priorities for campus operations.
• Collaborate with the operations team and partners to implement energy-efficiency opportunities.
• Explore funding and partnerships to support sustainability initiatives.
• Coordinate educational activities for students, families, and residents on climate and stewardship.
• Support meetings and trainings to build campus-wide sustainability capacity.
