Job summary

Hillsborough Community College is seeking a part-time Sustainability Student Assistant to support program coordination, documentation of sustainable practices, and student outreach on campus. The role includes clerical tasks, creating digital content, and assisting with events and campus projects.

Must be a current HCC student, able to work 8–15 hours weekly (some evenings/weekends) and at multiple campuses. Proficiency in Office 365 is expected; Spanish bilingual is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be a current HCC student.
• Experience with event planning, meeting facilitation, and logistics.
• Strong experience using Office 365 applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate program activities and provide clerical support.
• Create videos, podcasts, social media content documenting sustainable practices.
• Develop and maintain campus sustainability projects.
• Help organize and facilitate sustainability meetings with student groups.
• Data collection.
