Job summary

Vanderbilt University is seeking a Supply Delivery Technician within the Maintenance Operations group (VUMO) to ensure safe and timely delivery of tools and materials across campus. The role requires driving, inventory support, and coordination with multiple departments.

The position emphasizes accurate labeling, secure storage, and timely replenishment, with training to backup Material Coordinators as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Valid Driver License is required; must have and maintain a valid driving record.
• Valid Forklift License is required.
• 2 years of related experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver material, tools, equipment and correspondence to various departments and operating units within maintenance and custodial zones throughout Vanderbilt University, multiple times each day.
• Ensure orders are correctly labeled, delivered, and secured in the correct storage area for each customer.
• Assist with receiving inventory and storing items in their designated storage bins and staging areas.
• Sort incoming mail at the Chestnut Warehouse, deliver mail to, and retrieve mail from the VUMO mailroom in the Baker building.
• Track and execute preventative maintenance and repairs for the Storeroom delivery van.
