Responsibilities

• Serves as the initial point of contact for student life, cocurricular activities, student government, clubs and organizations, fundraising, and intramural contests.
• Provides logistics and hospitality support for student government, leadership activities, clubs, events, and media needs.
• Assists with communications, newsletters, flyers, and promotional materials for enrolled and prospective students.
• Provides information about opportunities, events, and programs and helps students navigate district and college processes.
• Advises potential students on applications and program participation and explains acceptance criteria.
• Maintains office calendars, websites, digital marquees, and informational materials for students.
• Assists student government and clubs with financial transactions, statements, governance, and Board meetings.
• Coordinates events and program activities, including room scheduling, food, transportation, and materials.
• Manages requisitions, invoicing, and reimbursements and liaises with staff, vendors, and community partners.
• Trains and assigns work to student assistants and communicates policies and procedures.
• Updates and revises department web pages and assists with onboarding of student staff and leadership.
