Job summary

Pennsylvania College of Technology (Penn College) is seeking a Student Engagement Coordinator to develop and support programs for campus life, student organizations, and community service. You will manage events, trainings, and the engagement platform, while ensuring compliance and budgeting considerations.

Role requires coordinating weekly to annual programming, plus significant weekend/evening hours and some travel between campus locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in appropriate discipline is required.
• Master's Degree in a relevant discipline preferred.
• Valid driver's license in state is required.
• Experience planning and executing large-scale events is required.
• Experience advising student organizations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate weekly, monthly, and annual educational programming and observations.
• Create, facilitate, and market social programming to boost engagement.
• Plan, organize, and support community service events and volunteer opportunities.
• Support growth of student organizations, including tracking requirements and training completion.
• Assist the Director with the development of new programming initiatives.
• Plan, implement, and support civic engagement programs and collaborations.
• Foster relationships with Williamsport community and campus partners.
• Work with other offices on co-curricular engagement opportunities.
• Stay current on trends in student engagement and leadership.
• Manage the student engagement platform and coordinate event registration; advise students on event details, budgeting, risk management, etc.
