Job summary

Palmer College Foundation Florida Campus Store Work Study assists with daily store operations, including customer service, sales, cashiering, stocking, merchandising, and receiving merchandise. Students are expected to be dependable, punctual, and professional and to work all scheduled shifts.

When unable to work a scheduled shift, students are expected to provide advance notice and assist with finding a replacement when applicable.

Qualifications

• Current Palmer College of Chiropractic student.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Dependable, organized, and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional customer service and assist with sales.
• Operate the cash register and accurately handle payments.
• Answer phones and process customer orders.
• Receive, check in, and stock merchandise.
• Clean, straighten, fold, and maintain the sales floor.
• Assist with merchandising and displays.
• Maintain product knowledge.
• Represent Palmer College and the Campus Store positively.
• Work cooperatively with Campus Store staff, students, and college personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
