Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
• 3-5 years related experience, preferably in a retail setting.
• Ability to lift cartons and operate a computerized inventory and ordering system.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store.
• Assist with ordering textbooks and supplies.
• Assist with receiving and unpacking merchandise.
• Operate the point-of-sale system.
• Assist with returns to publishers for credit.
• Process invoices and credit memos.
• Address and resolve customer complaints.
• Process online bookstore orders.
• Assist with store inventory.
• Arrange supplies and shelve textbooks.
• Complete other tasks as requested by the store manager.
