Job summary

Dining Services - University Housing seeks an Extra Help Snack Bar Attendant to prepare, serve, and package fast-food items and beverages in a busy campus setting. You will greet guests, take orders, handle cash, and use the POS with accuracy.

This role supports a high-volume cafe environment, maintains sanitation, restocks, and assists with production worksheets. Requires a high school diploma; ANSI food handler certification may be required during training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Food Handler Training Certification may be required on hire or during training.
• Experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and packages batches of food and beverages for sale.
• Greets customers, takes orders, and may accept payments using POS.
• Maintains cleanliness, sanitation, and product levels at serving lines.
• Performs production worksheets tracking food production and waste.
• Requisitions supplies and supports training of student staff as needed.
