Job summary

Northern Arizona University Shuttle Services is seeking a Bus Driver to operate campus transit buses, maintaining safety, reliability, and schedule adherence. The role requires excellent driving skills and the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and the public on a busy university campus.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, 1 year of experience, and a valid Arizona Class D license; a CDL (Class B or C) is required unless the vehicle transports 1–15 passengers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Drives a bus, tram, or van to transport passengers on campus or to events locally or within the state.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Performs vehicle maintenance and cleaning; conducts bi-weekly inspections and reports safety hazards.
• Charters may be assigned as needed.
• Provides directions and assistance to campus members and guests.
• Updates shuttle data for accurate information.
• Keeps vehicle and passenger logs; assists with data entry and training tasks.
