Job summary

Tulane University seeks a Shuttles & Transportation Driver to deliver safe, efficient transportation across fixed shuttle lines, Gold Zone routes, and chartered trips for university departments. You’ll also support management with day-to-day operations and may be on duty during emergencies as directed.

Ideal candidates bring two years of commercial driving, a valid CDL Class B, and a current DOT Medical Card; a P endorsement is required by hire date and a HS diploma or GED is expected.

Qualifications

• Two years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid U.S. CDL Class B license and Tulane policy eligibility.
• Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (Medical Card).
• P endorsement by hire date.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and efficient transportation for shuttle operations, including fixed lines, Gold Zone, service learning, and charters.
• Provide general operational support to management as assigned.
• Remain available during emergencies as required.
