Harris-Stowe State University is seeking a Shuttle Driver to operate campus shuttle routes safely and reliably, while delivering professional service to students, staff, and guests.

The role includes fueling, vehicle inspections, maintaining records, and coordinating shuttle use for events and athletics. Some weekends/evenings may be required, with on-campus operations and events support as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate the campus shuttle bus along its designated route and adhere to the posted schedule
• Coordinate fueling and maintain fueling records
• Inspect and maintain university vehicles for safety and cleanliness; notify supervisor of issues
• Coordinate vehicle use with supervisor for events and activities; communicate with Public Safety for check-in/check-out
• Track and account for vehicle keys
• Provide vehicle services for university guests and programs
• Maintain accurate vehicle usage records
• Maintain a valid driver license and clean driving record
• Stay in contact with supervisor via university-provided phone and report disruptions
