Job summary

The University of Miami Health System seeks a Security Officer to safeguard patients, staff, and assets across campus facilities. You will patrol hospitals and grounds, monitor security systems, and respond to emergencies, alarms, and disruptions with professional judgment.

Core duties include directing traffic, interviewing persons, and producing clear incident reports. A high school diploma, 1 year of experience, MS Office skills, and a valid Florida driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Submits reports of surveillance activity and unusual occurrences.
• Secur es exits, doors, and windows after operations.
• Investigates people for suspicious activity or possessions.
