Job summary

Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY seeks Security Officers to protect the campus community and property. Officers patrol campus areas, respond to emergencies, and enforce College rules while maintaining a professional presence and customer service mindset.

Responsibilities include conducting security checks, investigations, and routine tasks such as lock/unlock duties, fire extinguisher inspections, and participating in trainings. A valid NY driver’s license is required.

• Ability to multi task and remain calm in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct campus patrols (walking, fixed post, or vehicle).
• Provide security services to assigned campus areas and respond to requests for service.
• Enforce college policies and applicable laws; report hazards and incidents.
• Investigate incidents and prepare comprehensive written reports.
• Perform lock/unlock duties, inspections of fire extinguishers, and participate in drills.
