Job summary

Allied Universal in La Crescenta, CA seeks a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Badge Administration to serve students, staff and visitors, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and handling access control and reporting.

This daytime position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with hours around 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM and pays $19.00 per hour, with training and opportunities for career growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control or badge experience preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors and families.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas and entries.
• Respond to incidents calmly and report observations to leadership.
• Assist with access control and verification of visitor authorization.
• Prepare incident and patrol reports for site records.
