Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two years of full-time security experience with roving patrol.

• Knowledge of security and fire protection systems, emergency procedures, and public contact.

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus to protect students, staff and assets.
• Conduct security patrols of all campus areas for fire detection, intruder detection, safety hazards, and unusual conditions.
• Assist students, staff, and visitors with information, emergency conditions, traffic and parking control, and crowd control at events when applicable.
• Notify proper personnel in the event of fire, fire alarms, or equipment malfunctions.
• Reset alarm systems after the cause is determined and corrected.
• Maintain security equipment and a complete, legible shift security log.
• Issue visitor passes and traffic citations according to policies.
• Perform other related tasks as required.
