Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required and three years' experience in fire prevention, safety or security activities.
• Certification by the Department of Public Safety is required.
• Physical requirements include ability to stand/walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and maintain vision 20/40 with correction.

Responsibilities

• Patrols assigned areas diligently and checks for fire, prowlers, vandalism and other unusual activities.
• Responds promptly to emergencies and coordinates with other officers.
• Operates two-way radio and documents discrepancies verbally and in writing.
