Job summary

University of Findlay is seeking a Part-Time On-Call Security Officer to help safeguard the Main Campus. The role involves opening and securing facilities, patrolling campus grounds, housing areas, and monitoring equipment while providing responsive support during emergencies.

Employee must have a high school diploma, be at least 21, hold a valid driver's license, and be able to perform required physical tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Six months security or law enforcement experience preferred but not required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Part-time on-call position with variable shifts.

Responsibilities

• Open and secure facilities per Daily Schedule.
• Patrol main campus facilities and grounds.
• Patrol student housing and grounds.
• Monitor boiler rooms and report maintenance issues.
• Respond to emergencies (fire, medical, criminal).
• Monitor equipment and vehicles; maintain inventory.
