Qualifications

• CA Security License is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 2 years of security experience preferred.
• Customer service experience required.
• Experience working with children or students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure campus environment for students, staff, and visitors.
• Serve as a visible and approachable presence throughout campus.
• Respond to campus incidents, emergencies, and safety concerns.
• Monitor student behavior and enforce school policies.
• Conduct routine patrols and safety inspections of campus grounds and facilities.
• Assist with traffic flow, parking, and visitor access.
• Write detailed incident reports and document security-related activity.
• Support school administration with safety and security needs as requested.
• Assist with campus investigations, including reviewing camera footage and gathering information.
• Help ensure campus buildings and facilities are properly secured.
• Build positive working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and local law enforcement.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

Joffe Emergency Services is seeking professional and dependable part-time Campus Security Officer to support a school campus in the San Francisco area. This position involves regularly working 15-20 hours per week on a Monday-Friday schedule.

This role goes beyond traditional security — Campus Security Officers are trusted members of the school community who help foster a safe, positive, and supportive campus environment. Ideal candidates are calm under pressure, approachable, observant, and comfortable working with students, staff, and families on a daily basis.
