Qualifications

• Knowledge of statute enforcement, safety and security concepts, principles, procedures and techniques.
• Customer service practices; able to operate security vehicles, communication equipment, alarm systems, and other security equipment.
• Ability to follow and give oral and written instructions, to react in routine and emergency situations, to gather information and write factual reports, and to explain and ensure compliance with policies, rules, and regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with a diverse population.
• Valid Virginia Driver’s License.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain certification as a campus security officer as mandated by the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS).

Responsabilités
