Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; security training preferred.
• Two years of security or law enforcement experience; college experience may substitute.
• Florida "D" and "G" security licenses or eligibility to obtain these licenses prior to hire; or qualify as a Law Enforcement Officer with certification by the CJSTC.

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls for service including security incidents and campus disturbances.
• Enforce site traffic and parking regulations and conduct safety investigations.
• Prepare and review required records and offense reports; assist local law enforcement when needed.
• Analyze information to support proactive and reactive district security measures.
• Maintain and review records and reports with accuracy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
