Qualifications

• Security or related training certificate meeting Florida Statute 493 Class D requirements; kept current.

Responsibilities

• Responds to medical, criminal, and mechanical emergencies.
• Investigates incidents, interviews participants, completes reports.
• Patrols campus properties to ensure a safe environment.
• Utilizes walking, camera monitoring, and driving to deter crime.
• Provides traffic education, enforcement, and management to prevent accidents.
• Opens and locks buildings at close of classes and operations.
• Records entries of people in buildings after hours and identifies persons on property after hours.
• Provides courteous customer service to staff, students, and visitors.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
