Job summary

St. Andrew’s School is seeking a Security Officer to support campus safety and protect students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The role requires surveillance, access control, and proactive security measures within a 24/7 on-campus presence.

The position reports to the Director of Security and includes a Tuesday–Saturday shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with potential weekend, holiday work, and varying hours. Candidates must meet background checks and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 20 years of age.
• High school graduate or possess a high school equivalency certificate.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license (not suspended or revoked).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and authorize vehicle and pedestrian access to campus.
• Patrol premises on foot or by vehicle to secure the property.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and security systems.
• Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors.
• Adhere to all St. Andrew’s operating procedures.
• Respond to emergencies and assist as needed.
• Perform physically demanding tasks and potential restraint as required.
• Provide medical assistance, CPR, AED, or first aid if needed.
