Per Mar Security Services is seeking a full-time campus security officer on a first shift, offering 40 hours weekly at $18.50 per hour. We welcome entry-level and experienced applicants who want to start or continue a career in security.

The role involves patrolling campus property, monitoring for theft or rule violations, responding to calls from faculty and students, and performing doors/windows/gate checks.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Possess a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Qualify to obtain Iowa security license; assistance provided.
• Ability to perform outdoors work in all weather; walk long distances and stairs.
• Weekend availability.
• Willing to undergo pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Monitor campus to prevent theft and enforce rules.
• Perform rounds of doors, windows, gates; respond to calls.
• Additional duties as assigned by site supervisor.
