Job summary

The Belen Consolidated School District Maintenance Department seeks a part-time Mobile Home Occupant/Campus Security at Dennis Chavez Elementary. The occupant will reside in a mobile home, handle daily site security, secure entrances and perimeter, and manage the building alarm system.

Qualifications

• The occupant must protect assigned keys and security alarm codes for all buildings and structures.
• Secures the school site daily, including entrances, gates and perimeter, and verifies the building alarm system.
• Maintains confidentiality of security information and responds to alarm events as required.

Responsibilities

• Secure the school site daily, including unlocked entrances and perimeter fencing.
• Verify and set the building alarm system each day and respond to alarm calls.
• Perform periodic building inspections and ensure security measures are in place.
• Coordinate with district staff on security procedures and incident handling.
