Responsibilities

• Provides protection of life and property on campus area, patrolling on foot and by vehicle
• Detects and reports violations of law and hospital policy in a timely manner
• Handles morgue access and related activities including recordkeeping and interaction with families or coroner’s office
• Maintains lost and found items, valuables handling and access to hospital keys
• Responds to crisis intervention situations
• Implements directives from Public Safety Officer and Department Manager
• Performs report writing and light clerical duties
• Completes other duties as assigned
