Job summary

Case Western Reserve University is seeking a Public Safety Transportation Driver to provide safe, reliable campus transportation and to support campus security objectives. You will operate SafeRide vehicles, complete incident reports, and assist with patrols and emergencies.

The role requires a high school diploma, a preferred two-year degree in Law Enforcement/Criminal Justice, a valid Ohio driver’s license, CJIS certification, and the ability to pass screenings.

Qualifications

• Prior security experience is preferred and a thorough background investigation is required.
• Must pass psychological screening, agility assessment and drug screen.
• High school education required; two-year degree preferred in Law Enforcement/Criminal Justice.
• Must possess a valid Ohio driver's license with no significant violations.

Responsibilities

• Transport passengers per GPS; perform campus patrols and write incident reports.
• Serve as a security officer; enforce university policies and conduct checks.
• Provide security coverage for university events and emergencies.
