Job summary

Career Systems Development Corporation is seeking a Security Officer/Driver to enforce laws and policies while providing transportation for students at our Oregon center. The role involves safe vehicle operation, escort duties, and assisting visitors and staff.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, potential CDL/Passe nger bus endorsement, and strong writing and communication skills. Training, vehicle inspections, logs, and occasional dormitory coverage may be required, with shifts

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and qualify for company‑sponsored vehicle insurance.
• Must have or immediately seek CDL/Passenger bus endorsement.
• Knowledge of crowd control and law enforcement procedures is preferred.
• CPR/FA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transports students in company vehicle.
• Patrols assigned areas and remains alert for disturbances and safety hazards.
• Aids and assists visitors, students, and staff.
• Maintains Student Accountability logs for students entering/exiting the center.
• Conducts searches and safety inspections of visitors, staff and students as necessary.
• Provides escort service as directed.
• Issues visitor passes and temporary vehicle permits.
• Inspects vehicles and reports mechanical issues.
• May supervise students in activities and assist with trips.
• Keeps Center vehicles clean and maintained.
