Job summary

Lynn University Campus Safety is seeking a Supervisor to oversee the Campus Safety Officers and guide day-to-day safety operations on campus in Boca Raton. You will lead shifts, respond to incidents, and ensure policy compliance with a professional customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating training, maintaining incident reports, and participating in crisis response. CPR/AED certification and a valid Florida driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent with 6 months to 1 year related experience.
• Possess a valid Florida driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be willing to obtain CPR/AED certification.

Responsibilities

Summary:The primary purpose of the Campus Safety Supervisor is to provide oversight to their assigned Campus Safety Officers and represent Lynn University in daily campus safety operations. Ensure proper campus safety personnel and handle any student, faculty, staff, or guest concerns and issues. To maintain a professional customer service-oriented approach at all times.Job Description:Essential duties and responsibilitiesProvide direct supervision to a designated shift within the operational structure of the department.Engage in consistent support to staff, visible patrol, and astute observation to promote the physical safety of the campus and the safety of students, employees, and guests on the campus.Ensure adequate response to all matters reported during shift.Actively engage in prevention techniques to promote the safety of the campus and elevate concerns to the appropriate administrator for discussion when appropriate.Ensure that all Lynn University policies and procedures are enforced.Resolve conflict with parents, students, faculty, and staff in a professional, courteous, and respectful manner at all times.Execute training requirements for the Campus Safety staff.Review and approve all Incident Reports generated during shift.
