Job summary

Mt. Diablo Unified School District is seeking a Campus Supervisor I to help keep students, staff, and visitors safe on campus.

You will patrol grounds, monitor behavior, and enforce district policies while assisting with emergency preparedness and safety programs. This non-exempt, full-time role requires a high school diploma and experience with adolescents; training in crisis intervention and de-escalation is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in criminal justice, education, or related field preferred.
• Experience working with adolescents in educational or safety settings.
• Knowledge of emergency procedures and school policies.
• Ability to communicate clearly with students, staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus grounds, buildings, and perimeters to maintain safety.
• Monitor student behavior and intervene to reduce disruptions.
• Enforce district policies and assist with safety programs and drills.
• Escort and monitor visitors; report incidents promptly to administration.
• Assist with emergency preparedness and crisis intervention as needed.
• Support restorative practices and a positive school climate.
