Qualifications

• Prior work experience interacting with the general public.
• Experience overseeing and monitoring the behaviors of school aged children.
• Experience with crisis intervention preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information regarding students, employees and others.

Responsibilities

• Greet and screen campus visitors and issue passes; direct visitors to destinations.
• Guide traffic during school bus arrival and departure times.
• Escort students and staff across campus roadways/driveways.
• Interact with school aged children with patience and tact.
• Monitor and ensure students are safe and orderly on school property; assist in removal when necessary.
• Monitor social interactions and provide prevention/intervention with altercations.
• Assist with tracking students who do not report to class.
• Represent students with issues that may warrant administration attention.
• Handle minor clerical duties such as copying, filing and completing passes/documents.
