Job summary

Manteca Unified School District is seeking a school safety monitor to supervise students on school grounds, parking lots, crosswalks and areas adjacent to the school to ensure the enforcement of rules pertaining to student conduct, welfare, health and safety.

A high school diploma is required; TB clearance and fingerprinting are pre-employment requirements. Submit a resume and one letter of recommendation. Shifts vary by site; preference given to internal candidates.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of and/or experience working with school-age children.
• TB clearance and fingerprinting required.
• Internal candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising students on school grounds, parking lots, cross walks, and areas adjacent to the school to enforce school rules and policies pertaining to student conduct, welfare, health, and safety.
• Performs other related duties as required.
