SPLENDORA INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT seeks a Campus Monitor to provide a visible, supportive presence across school grounds, promote a safe learning environment, and assist with daily campus operations. The role emphasizes relationship building, de-escalation, and collaboration with administrators, teachers, and staff to ensure district safety and student success.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with experience working with youth preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with children or teens preferred.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution abilities.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a visible, approachable presence across campus.
• Build positive relationships to foster a safe, respectful school climate.
• Reinforce campus rules and redirect student behavior professionally.
• Assist students in locating classrooms and resources.
• Identify students needing help and connect them with staff.
• Use de-escalation strategies for student concerns.
• Support with campus safety, supervision, and transitions.
• Assist with events, arrivals, dismissals, and daily operations.
• Maintain confidentiality and document incidents as needed.
