Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana is seeking a part-time campus security officer for the Franklin campus. The role focuses on protecting people, assets, and property, documenting incidents, and coordinating with police or emergency services as needed.

Responsibilities include responding to alarms, providing first aid, escorting students and staff, patrolling grounds, and ensuring safety policies are followed. A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are required.

Responsibilities

• Protect the safety of people, assets and property on Ivy Tech's Franklin campus.
• Document and investigate all incidents or reports of crime.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies; provide rapid first aid when needed.
• Provide escort services to students and staff as requested.
• Patrol campus buildings, grounds and parking areas for safety concerns.
• Lock/unlock buildings and evacuate as necessary during emergencies.
