Job summary

Snoop Investigations and Security is expanding its school security team in the Hudson Valley. We seek professional, reliable officers to maintain a safe learning environment, patrol campuses, and serve as a visible presence for students and staff.

Responsibilities include enforcing site policies, handling incidents, and filing reports. Minimum: 18+, HS diploma or GED, NYS Security Guard License, valid driver's license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must hold a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
• Good physical condition to meet the demands of the role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out safety and security procedures, including site-specific policies and emergency response protocols
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional relationships with students, staff, and visitors
• Conduct routine and random patrols of school grounds, entrances, and perimeters
• Monitor for suspicious activity, disturbances, or unauthorized access
• Respond quickly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, or critical situations
• Complete incident reports and communicate safety concerns to supervisors or law enforcement when needed
