Job summary

LifeSkills Connection Inc. is seeking a Security Officer to plan, implement, and oversee safety and security programs at the Center. The role involves foot patrols, incident reporting, and coordinating with cadets to maintain a secure environment.

Responsibilities include enforcing policies, assisting staff and visitors, and conducting safety checks while ensuring compliance with regulations and Center procedures. This is a non-exempt, on-site position requiring vigilance and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of operating security/surveillance equipment, and knowledge of basic security procedures.
• Two years security, law enforcement, military, or related experience. Safety related training preferred.
• High School Diploma Or Equivalent Required. Associates Degree Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrols assigned areas and remains alert for disturbances, safety hazards, and suspicious activity.
• Enforces all laws, rules and policies within scope of authority and assists visitors and staff.
• Performs building security and safety checks and prepares written incident reports.
• Provides transportation service as needed and participates in safety and fire prevention programs.
• Coordinates with senior staff and cadets to ensure Center security and safety standards.
