Responsibilities

• Patrol the campus by foot or vehicle and monitor security cameras; ensure safety for students, staff, faculty, and visitors.
• Respond to emergencies; provide first aid and coordinate with medical personnel as needed.
• Identify safety and conduct violations; investigate and enforce laws and campus policies.
• Enforce traffic and parking regulations; direct traffic and issue citations.
• Coordinate with staff, faculty, and external agencies to support College operations.
• May conduct training sessions for probationary campus police officers and public safety officers.
• Maintain records, logs, and documentation; manage parking passes.
• Conduct investigations into violations of MCC policies; gather evidence and prepare reports for prosecution.
• Produce internal case status reports and provide feedback.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
