Job summary

Nana Management Services, LLC is seeking a Campus Security Officer to patrol Canisius University environs, ensuring safety and assisting students, staff and visitors. The role involves responding to emergencies, reporting incidents, issuing tickets, and performing courier duties in a public university setting.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years of related experience, and a valid New York driver's license with the ability to operate a vehicle in Canada.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required or equivalent.
• Associate degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• Valid New York State driver’s license; ability to drive in Canada.
• New York State Security Guard Registration required.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Emergency Medical Technician certification preferred.
• Contract requires ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus by foot and/or vehicle; observe and report suspicious or criminal activity.
• Respond to emergencies, take appropriate action, and document incidents.
• Issue tickets for parking and moving violations.
• Perform payroll runs and general courier service.
• Provide friendly, courteous, respectful service to Canisius University community.
• Attend training seminars and maintain knowledge.
• Maintain confidentiality of information and adhere to policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
