Job summary

University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Police Officer to provide professional law enforcement services across campus properties, ensuring a secure environment for patients, visitors, staff and stakeholders while upholding laws and institutional policies.

The ideal candidate will have completed law enforcement education, policing experience, and licensure with the ability to enforce laws, conduct investigations, and provide courtroom testimony.

Qualifications

• Required: completion of education for commissioned officers and proper licensure.
• Experience in policing and incident response preferred.
• Must obtain required licenses upon hire and maintain them.

Responsibilities

• Perform law enforcement duties on university property.
• Preserve peace and intervene to prevent crime.
• Investigate offenses and document findings.
• Enforce traffic laws and handle incidents on campus.
• Prepare detailed reports and provide testimony when needed.
• Collaborate with local agencies and internal stakeholders.
