Campus Safety Patrol Officers - FT, PT, & Flex - $17/hr!

Sunstates Security is hiring full-time, part-time, and flex Campus Safety Patrol Officers in Savannah, GA. Starting pay is $17/hr with weekly pay. All shifts, including weekends, are available.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of verifiable driving experience
• At least 1 year of Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience
• Full COVID-19 vaccination preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Professional appearance
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
• Accessible for phone communication
• Ability to analyze situations, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure
• Ability to read and understand instructions and communicate clearly
• Willing to work holidays, weekends, and in all weather conditions
• Ability to work independently
• Clean background, pass pre-employment evaluation, and pass drug screens

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas on foot or vehicle to ensure security
• Inspect doors, windows, and gates; monitor buildings for unauthorized access
• Warn violators of infractions
• Provide escort services and public assistance
• Report irregularities and emergency situations
• Approach or detain suspicious persons as needed
• Check emergency call boxes and street lights
• Monitor parking areas
• Prepare reports
• Serve as Campus Security Authority
• Perform other duties as assigned

Additional Information

High School diploma or equivalent required. Driver's License required.
