Responsibilities

• The Mercer University Campus Security Guard conducts preventative patrols and monitors assigned areas.
• Serves as a visible deterrent to crime, assists with routine incidents, and relays information to sworn officers.
• Operates access control, two-way radios, and video surveillance equipment.
• Provides directions and safety escorts to students, staff, and visitors.
• Maintains incident reports and activity logs with accurate data entry.
