Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Secure campus buildings at night and open during the day.
• Perform building security checks for hazards, open doors, leaks, and suspicious activity.
• On-duty officers shall not possess or use firearms; may detain and contact certified officers.
• Assist on-scene with sworn personnel during exigent circumstances.
• Respond to emergencies and provide safety escorts for students, staff and visitors.
• Document conditions in daily log and report hazards to Facilities Services.
• Maintain regular attendance and support campus functions.
